Discussion relating the professional expectations awaited from the graduates of higher education

   The discussion relating the professional expectations awaited from the graduates of higher education institutions took place within the international convention. Davit Hunanyan, who always works with graduate students as a partner of  “AM” law firm and due to this work is aware of the arising problems and the skills that are necessary to gain in the higher educational institutions, presented and clarified the requirements submitted to the candidates for being employed within the convention. Particularly the requirements, the graduates of the higher educational institutions must comply with for being employed, were emphasized.
    These and other issues relating the problems existing in the RA educational system, the further reforms for their solution, the prospects of the national frameworks of the qualifications of Armenia, educational projects and their results were discussed within the international convention “The problems of implementation of national and sectoral frameworks of qualifications ” taken place within TEMPUS “ARMENQA”  project.
    RA deputy minister of education and science, doctor Karine Harutyunyan, the rector of ASPU named after Kh. Abovyan professor Ruben Mirzakhanyan,  the professor of the university of applied sciences of Osnaburk Volker Gehmlikh, the head of the national office of “Erazmus+” project in Armenia Lana Karlova, the chairman of the republican union of employers of Armenia Gagik Makaryan and a number of foreign representatives from the education sector were among the participants of the project.
   «ARMENQA»  is a triennial national project which is directed to the implementation of national and sectoral qualifications framework. The coordinator of the project is the Linshoping university of Sweden.

The cultural dispute ended in asking for forgiveness from Ervand Kochar Museum

   The best result of  advocacy is the extrajudicial settlement of similar disputes. “AM” law firm managed to assure a legally effective solution for the successors  and museum of Ervand Kochar without further litigation in the current stage.  More detailed information hereof is presented in the following media reference:

   “A. Ghanalanyan, who made slanderous statements addressed to the Ervand Kochar museum, acted with an announcement and asked for forgiveness. Particularly, the latter told: “I am asking forgiveness from the reader and supposed addressee, the “Ervand Kochar Museum” SNCO in order to expiate the consequences of misunderstanding”.

   Let us remind that the announcement published on behalf of social organization “National architect Rafayel Israyelyan” in connection with the sculpture “Eagle of Zvartots”, which cast doubt on the authorship of  Ervand Kochar towards the sculpture by using slanderous expressions, received quite great social interest a few days ago.

   “AM” law firm assumed the protection of the rights of the museum and successors of Ervand Kochar informing the public that the appropriate legal proceedings are started in order such announcements get concrete reaction in the legal field, which was effectual in fact.

The creative heritage of Ervand Kachar is attampted to be depreciated

   Recently, it is astonishing to see the announcement of the social organization “National architect Rafayel Israyelyan” relating the sculpture “Eagle of Zvartnots”, which attempts to cast doubt on the co-authorship of Ervand Kochar. In order to make their speech more audible, the authors of the announcement used insults and slanderous statements, relating which “AM” law firm assumed the protection of the rights of the museum and successors of Ervand Kochar. 

   Upon the moment of its publication (installment), the sculpture “Eagle of Zvartnots” is famous as a work jointly created by Ervand Kochar and Rafayel Israyelyan, which is a well-known fact and is confirmed as by numerous books, articles of printed media, evidences, as by the certificate of the registry of historical and cultural monuments, according to which the architect of the sculpture is Rafayel Israyelyan, and the sculptor is Ervand Kochar (some of the materials are attached to this announcement). According to the articles 7 and 8 of the RA Law “On the Copyright and Neighboring Rights” the co-authorship right of the two artists is set to the sculpture. 

    The museum, as well as the successors of Ervand Kochar have never represented the “Eagle of Zvartnots” as a work created solely by Ervand Kochar and always mentioned the two authors in good faith. It’s worth mentioning that Rafayel Israyelyan and Ervand Kochar as well did not disputed that fact during their lifetime. 

    Each of us might be proud of the monument “Eagle of Zvartnots”, as a result of cooperation of the two greatest artists, while today it is attempted to damage their cultural heritage by using their names.    “AM” law firm will defend the rights, honor and dignity of the museum and the successors of Ervand Kochar and will control such publications not to remain without consequences in the legal field as well.
